"When I needed his support, Joel Judd was there for me. He is an elected official who has guts and who is on our side. He will fight for everyone in our community.
I trust Joel Judd."
Former President of Colorado Community College
The Judd Record
We made history last year. Never before had so many Democrats, Independents and even Republicans come together and worked so hard to change our country's direction.
That was one powerful force.
Elections are ultimately about the policies you implement. I wrote months ago in the Huffington Post that corporate tax loopholes had to be closed. I have no problem with tax credits that produce jobs and will fight vigorously for such a program. What I have a problem with are tax credits that drain hundreds of millions from the public purse and only create jobs for the tax lawyers hired to decipher them.
We got rid of a lot of these loopholes.
I led the fight to do so.
The result is that we have more money for our schools, for health care and for other programs that serve the weakest amongst us.
It was a tough fight and I was proud to wage it.
My two Senate opponents were both missing in action. It was kind of shocking as many of the dollars we saved would go to public schools.
It was even more disturbing that one of my opponents supported enacting a tax loophole that would have drained tens of millions of dollars from the public coffers without one iota of proof that it would create even one job. (link)
That is just irresponsible.
I'd like to know what you think about the work we have done in the Legislature? Any ideas you have would also be greatly appreciated. I will personally respond to every comment and e-mail you send.
